CAREER SUMMARY

David's professional career started off as a Business Development Manager and H.R. Manager; where he was in charge of procuring new business, identifying new markets and managing the H.R. functions. He sold new home energy products, brought on new lines of energy equipment and services, trained the sales team and increased revenues by 6%. One of his achievements was converting the scheduling and project management system from a manual to a computerized system that he designed.

He was presented with the opportunity as a Project Manager and Estimator. His primary job responsibilities included estimating project budgets, project scheduling, interacting with associates and vendors and managing the budget through completion. Client engagement was an important part of his job, and thus was able to further improve his communication skills.

As a Construction Manager his responsibilities were preparing and submitting project budgets, land acquisition, preparing construction documents, monitoring and reconciling budgets, managing change orders and cost variances. His ability to bring together the talents of all team members while reducing the project timeline was one of his biggest accomplishments.

His success propelled him into a position as Finance and Administration Manager where he was responsible for the company's operating budget, P&L, accounting functions, financial reporting, project and risk analysis, HR administration and management of IT infrastructure. David traveled to various locations for workshops, course meetings & industry shows. His ability to manage and work effectively & efficiently with cross-cultural teams is one of his strongest skills.

He is now Director of Operations; an executive management leadership role monitoring the day to day operations of the business. He is directly involved with the development of new products and services, business development, monitoring budgets and finances, financial reporting, overseeing project managers and project progress.
