Selection and Home Design Coordination. The majority
of clients have a house design in mind. David will meet with
you to get a feel for your lifestyle and location needs. He
will help you find the ideal lot for your house, so that you
don't end up with a lot that won't accommodate your design
plans.
Design Creation and Implementation. We work
with a designer who will help you achieve your vision for
your new home. Our design team works with you to ensure your
new home meets all your needs. David Carey designs always
combine the uniqueness of the individual client with the practicality
of function.
Custom Design Elements. Pricing out your
home to give you an accurate idea of cost is a job taken quite
seriously by David Carey. We will talk through the home design
and then develop a specification document for you. If you
have specific custom design elements you'd like incorporated
into your new home, we encourage you to bring pictures of
it. A picture can help answer a thousand questions. At the
end of the pricing process, if needed we can offer design
changes to help accommodate your budget.

Financing.
After all the initial contract documents are signed, we have
resources that will work with you on your financing. When
financing is complete, a survey with the house placement is
done.
Construction
Phase. Construction begins with the excavation. At
this time you'll be given a schedule of decisions that you'll
need to make. It's now time to select your materials. Some
clients choose to work with an interior designer and some
choose to use our resources; we can assist you either way.
At each critical point of construction, the client will have
a walk through to ask questions or make changes as needed.
Documentation.
The entire construction process is captured on video
and in pictures. This makes it easy to remember what was done
where. For example, if we ever need to uncover drywall we
can easily go back and find the picture that documents the
process. |

Marketing
Services and Final Walk Through. As completion draws
near, we will keep you abreast of the projected completion
date. Many clients have existing homes to sell and we can
assist you in the marketing and selling of your home. Prior
to closing will be the final walk through.
Warrantees.
Your new home is covered under warranty and one of David Carey
Custom Builder's strongest assets is his service period agreement.
Every new home goes through a "breaking in" phase and it's
our guarantee that all warranted items in your home are corrected
in a timely manner.
